After Not Renewing Marcus Thames Contract As Hitting Coach, PJ Pilittere's Contract As Assistant Hitting Coach Will New York's Offense Improve In 2022?
New York, the team that wears the pinstripes is going to have a new Hitting Coach , Assistant Hitting Coach for the 2022 season!
Why?
Marcus Thames contract isn’t going to be renewed for the 2022 season!
Assistan Hitting Coach P.J. Pilittere’s contract isn’t going to be renewed for the 2022 season!
Why?
I don’t know the exact reason why but one my guess is because New York, the team that wears the pinstripes was a fluky 55-34 record in games determined by two runs or fewer, and MVP-caliber performances from Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton, obscured their offensive underperformance: The Yanks scored only 711 runs and owned a +46 run differential, far below the division-winning Rays (+206), White Sox (+160) and Astros (+205). There was a lot of swing-and-miss in the Yankees' lineup, yet Tampa Bay struck out more, walked less and hit the same number of home runs (222) as New York, while scoring 146 more runs.

Marcus Thames had this to say about not having his renewed for the 2022 season!
They made a decision,”“I just hate that we didn’t win a championship. But they want to go in a different direction, I guess. I wasn’t the voice that they thought [would] get us over the hump.”

With Marcus Thames, PJ Pilittere not getting their contracts renewed for the 2022 season this question comes to mind will the new hitting coach that they hire for the 2022 season be able to improve New York, the team that wears pinstripes offensively?
I think it depends who New York, the team that wears the pinstripes hires as their new hitting coach, assistant hitting coach!
