Team Loyalties in the Tar Heel State

Sports are  big in North Carolina and in the triangle. You've got Duke, Carolina and NC State. When people move here from a different state they often get asked this question. Who do you route for?  If it's  Duke Carolina the biggest rivalry in college basketball the  question they get  is this,  Who's  side are you on ? Their response may be something like this. What are you talking about? Sports are a staple of  North  Carolina's identity! If you live here no matter how big or small  a fan  you're you have to pick a team! 

I have lived in North Carolina my whole life and  if you asked me which team I route for today you would get the same answer over and over my loyalty doesn't change it stays the same . Which team do you route for and why ?
