Is Senior Grayson Allen A Captain For The 2017-2018 Season?

Last season Grayson Allen was a captain to begin the season before his tripping incidents reoccurred again and he was stripped from it by head coach Mike Krzyzewski and suspended for a game. That left Amile Jefferson and Matt Jones who were seniors as captains for 2016-17 season. 

By normal Duke standards, he should be, but he was unreliable last season because he failed to control his emotions during the Elon game and reliability is pretty important. What is this difference in next season's team? For starters, this team is young. Duke only has one returning player from last season's ACC Championship team that has been around the program for three years and averaged 29.6 minutes per game last season and he is now a senior and that is Grayson Allen while the rest of last years team has graduated Amile Jefferson and Matt Jones and those players that have moved on to the NBA include Frank Jackson, Jayson Tatum and Luke Kennard. The rest of next season's team includes freshman, Trevon Duval, Jordan Goldwire, Jordan Tucker, Alex 0' Connell and Gary Trent Junior and Wendell Carter along with sophomores  Jack White, Marques Bolden,  junior Antonio Vrankovic, and walk-ons Justin Robinson and Brennan Besser.

The questions still to be answered is who will Mike Krzyzewski appoint the role of captain to next season? The lone senior Grayson Allen or one of the younger players? 

If Grayson Allen is appointed captain will he live up to the expectations that the C on his jersey stands for?
