NC State Falls In Charlottesville To Virginia

NC State who beat than second ranked Duke on Saturday January 6th and than nineteenth  Clemson on Thursday January 11th  wasn't so lucky when they went on the road to play third ranked Virginia Sunday as their win streak of beating ranked opponents came to an end.

The Pack shot just 33.3 percent from the field in the first half which allowed the Cavaliers to build a 16-point advantage, 28-12, with 4:43 remaining in the opening 20 minutes. Lavar Batts, Jr., added a career-high 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting and Lennard Freeman also chipped in nine points and six rebounds off-the-bench.
