Cameron Johnson Of North Carolina Has Arthroscopic Hip Procedure, Expected To Be Ready For The 2018-2019 Season

North Carolina guard Cameron Johnson had to go under the knife this week as he had a arthroscopic procedure on his hip.

Johnson played in 26 games and made 20 starts in 2017-18 in his first season with the Tar Heels. The Moon Township, Pa., native was second on the team in free throw percentage (.847), and third in scoring (12.4) and rebounding (4.7). He made 47 three-pointers and scored in double figures 19 times. Johnson led Carolina in scoring three times (both games vs. Clemson and at Duke), and scored 20 or more points three times, including a career-best 32 at Clemson.
