Gary Trent Jr. Selected In The Second Round Of The NBA Draft By Sacramento, Traded To Portland

There was a possibility that guard Gary Trent Jr. who elected to go pro after his freshman season at Duke could have ended up in Sacramento which would have made him and college teammate Marvin Bagley III teammates in the NBA but instead he was traded to another team in the league.

Gary Trent, Jr., who was selected by Sacramento in the second round with the 37th overall pick and traded to the Portland Trailblazers. Duke previously had four draft picks in 1986, 1999 and 2017.
