North Carolina shot 10-15 from three point range in the opening 20 minutes and 20-of-32 overall to open a 56-31 advantage over NC State at the break.
North Carolina would extend its lead to 35 points in the opening five minutes of the second half.

North Carolina finished with 15 three-pointers and shot 55.6 percent from three-point range.

North Carolina had four players score in double figures, led by Caleb Love with 21 points. Armando Bacot added a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds.

North Carolina, NC State are going to match up again on February 26, 2022 this time, in North Carolina’s capital.

For now though though North Carolina is now going to prepare for their inaugural match up of the regular season with Louisville in Louisville Kentucky Tuesday while NC State is going to prepare to host Syracuse for their only match up of the regular season on Wednesday.
