On Tuesday night January 18, 2022 Trevor Keels was injured in Duke’s 79-78 loss to Florida State in Tallahassee.
With 10:11 to go in regulation Trevor Keels right leg twisted awkwardly in a pileup of players after he fouled Jalen Warley who like Trevor Keels is a guard and wears number 1 just like Trevor Keels. Trevor Keels was helped off the hardwood by Mike Krzyzewski , trainer Jose Fonseca before being taken back to the Duke locker room and did not return to the game.
On Saturday Trevor Keels was sidelined when Duke hosted Syracuse because of his leg injury.
Then on Saturday January 29, 2022 Trevor Keels was sidelined yet again because of his leg injury when Duke was on the road at Louisville.
