How Duke Quarterback Riley Leonard Made A Difference In His Hometown Of Fairhope Alabama Along With Duke Offensive Lineman, Teammate Graham Barton

During the fall Riley Leonard who is quarterback for Duke is running the football, passing the football to his tight ends, wide receivers scoring touchdowns while Graham Barton is trying protect Riley Leonard from getting knocked down, sacked.

Duke kicks off their 2023 season their second season under Duke Head Coach Mike Elko on Monday September 4, 2023 as they host Clemson in Durham.

On Saturday though Riley Leonard Graham Barton were both in Riley Leonard’s hometown of Fairhope Alabama conducting camp for young football players in the area for 1st through 8th graders.

Graham Barton who is Duke ‘s offensive lineman Riley Leonard’s teammate had this to say about conducting camp along with Duke teammate Duke quarterback Riley Leonard for 1st through 8th graders!

When he told me he was putting on this camp in his hometown and he asked me to come with him, I jumped at the opportunity,It’s just amazing to see the community support Riley has. It speaks volumes of his family and him. It’s awesome to be down here and help give back and, hopefully, inspire some kids along the way.”

Tim Carter who is Fairhope High School Head Coach had this to say about Riley Leonard!

He’s our prodigal child,“We are all pulling for him, and we are so excited for him. For him to want to come back and share some of his success with this community just shows you what kind of young man he is.

Graham Barton who is Duke’s offensive lineman who is Riley Leonard’s teammate had this to say about Riley Leonard!

He always has a smile on his face,” the Tennessee native said. “He’s an inspiration to these kids out here, but to the guys in our lockerroom, too. I think what is so unique about him is his positivity, the way he works. I think that will take Riley as far as he wants to go

Riley Leonard who is Duke quarterback had this to about conducting camp for 1st through 8th graders in his hometown of Fair Hope Alabama!

This means the world to me,”This is a dream come true, getting to come back and give back to my community. I really did always dream of giving back. There are so many people in Fairhope and the whole 251 area who have supported me. This is one of the best days of my life.”
