Ichiro Still Chasing 3000

The Marlins played their first game of a three game series with the Saint Louis Cardinals on Friday night at Marlins Park. Ichiro went 0-8 but that didn't stop the forty two year old outfielder from making an impact on the game by robbing Cardinals second baseman Colton Wong of a hit . The Marlines and Cardinals play game two tonight first pitch is at 7:10pm from Marlines Park. Right hander Colin Rea is on the mound for the Marlines who has a 5-5 record to go a long with a 4.98 earn run average.  He will be going up against left hander Jamie Garcia of the Cardinals who has a record of 7-7 and a 3.97 earn run average . 

Will Ichiro get his 3,000 hit tonight ?  Will  he have to wait another night ? Will he rob a Saint Louis Cardinals player of another hit? That question is yet to be answered but will be answered soon enough.
