Phelps To Marlins Rotation

David Phelps  has been used mainly out of the bullpen this season by manager Don Mattingly but that will change when the Marlins go on the road to play the Rockies for a three game series starting Friday. First pitch is set for 8:40 pm.

Phelps will be the starter  after recently acquired pitcher Colin Rea was injured on Saturday and the Marlins traded him back to the Padres." According to   http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/17193888/miami-marlins-sending-colin-rea-back-san-diego-padres"

Right hander David Phelps who has a record of 5-5 to go along  with a 2.65 earn run average will take the mound for the  Marlins against  Rockies left hander Jorge LaRosa he is 7-7 with a 5.51 earn run average .

Will Phelps get his second win of the season? Will the Marlins offense be able to score enough  runs to back up his start ? Those  questions  are yet to be answered but will be answered soon enough.

Go Marlins!
