Miami Looks For Their First Win Of The Season In Washington
Miami didn't have the opening day they were hoping for Monday afternoon when they lost to Washington 4-2 where starting pitcher Edinson Volquez had a solid outing on the mound where he struck out six while working five innings.
Right handed reliever David Phelps didn't have quite as good a day as their starting pitcher as he gave up a home run to Adam Lind when he was working his second inning of relief.
Miami will try to get in the win column when they play Washington tonight . Don Mattingly will send right hander Dan Stailey to the mound where he will face Washington right hander Tanner Roark .
First pitch is set for 7:05pm. The game will be televised on MASN.
