New York Center Fielder Jacoby Ellsbury Put On The 7-Day Concussion Disabled List

New York will be without center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury for awhile.

He left Wednesday night's game against Kansas City with a concussion and sprained neck after he banged his head into the center-field wall while catching Alcides Escobar's  fly ball on Luis Severino's opening pitch. Ellsbury was down for an extended period and was checked by a New York trainer. He remained in center for the rest of the first inning but did not come to bat in the bottom half. He was replaced by Aaron Hicks to start the second inning. "according to http://www.espn.co.uk/mlb/story/_/id/19455959/jacoby-ellsbury-new-york-yankess-leaves-game-banging-head-outfield-wall

New York recalled infielder-outfielder Rob Refsnyder from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to fill Ellsbury's spot on the roster. Aaron Hicks replaced Ellsbury in the top of the second inning and could see his playing time increase. Left fielder, Brett Gardner had this to say about his teammate "You can't really replace what [Ellsbury] does on both sides of the ball, but Hicks has obviously been playing great," said. "He's going to step right in and we'll keep this thing rolling along. Hopefully [Ellsbury is] back as soon as he's ready and it's not long." according to http://m.yankees.mlb.com/news/article/232237674/jacoby-ellsbury-injured-crashing-into-wall/

How will Rob Refsnyder perform with New York while Jacoby Ellsbury is on the seven-day concussion disabled list?
