Michael Pineda, New York Looking To Snap Their 6-Game Losing Streak As They Host Los Angeles

Finally, New York is back on the East Coast after having a terrible road trip that started in Anaheim California against Los Angeles before it moved to Oakland California where they faced Oakland.

This month, Pineda only has three strikeouts in 11 innings on the road but has struck out eight in seven innings at home. He will go up against Los Angeles right -hander Parker Bridwell who has a record of 1-0 with a 2.79 earn run average. He will make his second big league start as he takes the place of Matt Shoemaker who is on the disabled list with a strain in his right forearm extensor.
