He turned in three straight quality starts before allowing two runs and seven hits in five innings last time out against Boston.  He will go up against Seattle right -hander Yovani Gallardo who has a record of 5-9 with a 5.75 earn run average. Gallardo has been a veteran presence in the rotation. With injuries to key starters, he has provided quality innings. Gallardo has allowed three or fewer earned runs in seven of his 11 starts.
