Aaron Boone went from the broadcast booth back to the field but not as a player but as a manager as he is currently in his first spring training in Tampa Florida with New York as pitchers and catchers reported this week to George M. Steinbrenner Field.
Aaron Boone was drafted in 1994 out of the University of Southern California in the third round as the seventy second pick overall by the Cincinnati Reds. and played twelve seasons in major leagues for five different originations. From 1997 to 2003 he played for Cincinnati before being traded to New York. From there in 2005 he played for Cleveland before playing for Florida which is now Miami and then played for Washington in 2008 before finishing up his playing career with Houston in 2009.
