Clint Frazier To Join New York Ahead Of Their Series Against Washington

Lately we haven't seen much of Clint Frazier but he is rejoining New York on the road as they open up a two-game series against Washington who is a member of the National League.

Clint Frazier was called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in advance of Tuesday's series opener against the Nationals in Washington, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand "according to https://www.mlb.com/yankees/news/clint-frazier-called-up-by-yankees/c-276819218

New York has not announced the move, which will require a corresponding transaction to make room for Frazier on the active roster. Frazier's arrival will give the Yankees an additional position player for the series in a National League park, where a designated hitter cannot be used. Frazier, on the disabled list since the beginning of the season because of concussion symptoms resulting from a collision with an outfield wall during Spring Training, hit .362/.423/.702 with three home runs in 12 games for Scranton/Wilkes Barre. He played center field for the Railriders on Sunday for the fourth time this season. "according to https://www.mlb.com/yankees/news/clint-frazier-called-up-by-yankees/c-276819218

With right-hander Tommy Kahnle traveling with the Yankees on their eight-game road trip and expected to make a return off the 10-day disabled list near the end of it, the Yankees are likely to send down a reliever to make room for Frazier.
