Clint Frazier Gets Optioned To Triple -A

After the series finale in Kansas City and a brief  stint with the big league club New York  sent Clint Frazier back to triple -A Scranton /Wilkies /Barre . 

Frazier, 23, had appeared in only one game since being called up on May 15. He sat for five games, then went 1 for 2 with two walks and a double in the Yankees' 8-3 win over Kansas City on Saturday night. Frazier, who made his major-league debut with the Yankees last year, missed much of spring training and additional time in April after suffering a concussion. The Yankees are expected to add a reliever before they open a three-game series against the Rangers in Texas.
