J.A. Happ Lands On The Disabled List With Hand, Foot And Mouth Disease

J.A. Happ made his first start for New York on Sunday July 29th after being acquired from Toronto. Unfortunately the recently acquired left-hander  is headed for a stint on the disabled list. 

The Yankees announced on Thursday afternoon that they placed left-hander J.A. Happ on the 10-day disabled list (retroactive to July 30) with hand, foot and mouth disease. The club also optioned infielder Tyler Wade to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, and recalled right-hander Luis Cessa and infielder Luke Voit from Triple-A.
