The New York team located in the Bronx has had a tough time with injuries so far this season as the Yankees currently have twelve players on the injured list.

As for infielders and outfielders New York has a lot of them on the injured list as well. Those including shortstop Troy Tulowitzski who was supposed be Didi Gregorius replacement at shortstop while he recovers from Tommy John Surgery but instead Troy Tulowitzski is on the injured list with a calf injury along with his teammate that plays the same position. Troy Tulowitzski though will return before Didi Gregorious as the estimated date to get him back is May 13th while Didi Gregorious won’t return until June 15th. “according to https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/teams/NYY/new-york-yankees/injuries/

But despite all these injuries New York is continuing to win games as well as series with the reinforcements who get called up from Scranton Wilkies Barre and that is fantastic!
Most recently they topped Seattle in game two of their four game series where Gio Urshela and DJ LeMahieu delivered big hits that helped author one of the team's most exciting victories of the young season.”according to https://www.mlb.com/yankees/news/dj-lemahieu-yankees-rally-to-walk-off-mariners
The slick-fielding Urshela atoned for an eighth-inning error by depositing a game-tying home run into Monument Park, and LeMahieu lashed the deciding hit, driving home Cameron Maybin with the winning run as the Yankees stunned the Mariners, 5-4, on Tuesday at Yankee Stadium.”according to https://www.mlb.com/yankees/news/dj-lemahieu-yankees-rally-to-walk-off-mariners
What will they do next? Hopefully the team that wears the pinstripes will continue to win games with their reinforcements until the players that belong on mound, infield as well as the outfield return when they’re healthy.
