Why Would The Media Consider Asking Aaron Boone About Moving Aaron Judge To Another Position?

Earlier this week Aaron Boone who is the manager of the team that wears the pinstripes was asked by the media would he consider moving Aaron Judge to another position. More specifically first base because of how many injuries Aaron Judge has had.

Aaron Boone’s response “No, no, no, no,’’ “Sometimes when a guy has a few injuries, and significant injuries, sometimes there is a unlucky, fluke thing. You are playing major league sports and injuries come with it. “according to ”according to an article by Brendan Kuty of NJ Advance Media for NJ .com

“He has had a couple of unfortunate injuries the last couple of years, but moving him? Absolutely not. He is an elite defender and one of the game’s great player. Never a discussion to move him.’’ according to ”according to an article by Brendan Kuty of NJ Advance Media for NJ .com

Boone added, “He is a true two-way player and I think outfielders nowadays … have become more valuable over time (because of) more balls in the air. I think when you have elite defense in the outfield I think it shows up so much in the win column over time and Aaron is one of those guys.”according to an article by Brendan Kuty of NJ Advance Media for NJ .com

My question is why would the media consider asking this question to Aaron Boone?

Aaron Judge is 6”7” 282 pounds and he can cover a lot of ground and even make some great catches to save some runs from scoring!

Last season Aaron Judge made a fantastic catch on October 4, 2019 The New York Yankees star likely saved a run, as Rosario, with a man on first, laced a shot to right field that threatened to scoot past Judge. Then, the big man laid out for the sweet grab to end the inning. “according to an article by Jesse Reed on sportsnaut.com
