What Will It Be Like For Gerrit Cole To Return To Houston When And If The Season Begins As A Member Of New York?

Over the weekend the team that wears the pinstripes who is a member of the American League East was supposed to be in Houston Texas to face Houston who is a member of the American League West and a player who spent his last two seasons with Houston was supposed to return to Minute Maid Park but as a member of the team that wears the pinstripes.

Who was it? Gerrit Cole

However,

That didn’t happen!

Why? Because of the Corona Virus that is effecting us in the United States and around the world. So it got me thinking about this question. What will it be like for Gerrit Cole to step on mound in Houston when and if the season begins as the opponent?

I don’t know what it will be like for the right -hander when he returns to Houston as the opponent who finished with a record of 20-5 with a 2.69 earn run average last season with Houston. The one thing I do know though is that New York finally has the pitcher they drafted out of Orange Lutheran High School in California in the 2008 MLB Draft and that New York’s starting rotation is now better then Houston’s. Why? Because the team that wears the pinstripes now has Gerrit Cole who General Manager Brian Cashman referred to as You’re my white whale. “according to an article by Ronald Bloom of the Associated Press on washingtontimes.com
