Aaron Judge Has To Have Another CT Scan On Injured Rib
Aaron Judge who is a 6”7 282 pound right fielder for the team that wears the pinstripes originally injured his rib in September in a game against the Los Angeles Angels.
How?
Judge dove in an attempt to catch Albert Pujols’ fifth-inning single on Sept. 18, 2019. He spent the rest of the inning trying to stretch the shoulder out, but remained in the game. He sat out one game, but played seven games to end the season going 8-for-25 with three homers, two doubles and a triple in 25 at-bats. “according to an article by KRISTIE ACKERT of the New York Daily News.
Manager Aaron Boone recently provided an update on the right fielder and this is what he had to say.
"He's due for another CT scan, I believe, in a couple more weeks," Boone said. "So this time down has allowed that rib -- that bone -- to hopefully continue to heal. "All signs are encouraging there, and hopefully this time down allows that rib to heal properly and hopefully have him part of all this."“according to an article by ESPN on espn.com
During the 2019 season Aaron Judge had a batting average of 272 with 27 home runs, 55 runs batted in and an on base slugging percentage of of 921. “according to https://www.espn.com/mlb/player/_/id/33192/aaron-judge
What will his batting average be this season? How many home runs will he hit? How many runs batted in will he have and what will his on base slugging percentage be? We won’t know unless the season some how gets started but right now we don’t if that is going to happen. Why? Because of the Corona Virus outbreak in the United States and around the world.
