Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton Returning To New York's Starting Lineup Soon?
Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton have been out of New York’s starting lineup!
Why?
Aaron Judge sustained a right calf strain on Aug. 11 and returned from the injury on Aug. 26, only to re-injure the calf while running the bases during that game. At the time, general manager Brian Cashman said that Judge’s stint on the IL would take twice the time of the original strain because the rehab had failed. “according to an article by Bryan Hoch
Giancarlo Stanton sustained a left hamstring strain on August 8th. “according to an article by Bryan Hoch on mlb.com
Before their injuries Aaron Judge had taken 65 at bats, had 16 runs, 19 hits , 20 runs batted in and a batting average of 292 “according to https://www.mlb.com/player/aaron-judge-592450 while Giancarlo Stanton has had 41 at bats , 10 runs , 12 hits , 3 home runs , 7 runs batted in and 1 stolen base and a batting average of 293.”according to https://www.mlb.com/player/giancarlo-stanton-519317
Because Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton have been on the injured list New York lost five straight games that included three games to Baltimore and two to Toronto!
But could Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton be returning to the starting lineup soon?
Aaron Boone had an update on them prior to New York’s doubleheader verses Baltimore on Friday to open up the three game series in Bronx New York!
This is what he had to say!
They’re very close! They're both feeling well, they're both doing well. Hopefully we're in the final days before they start getting some at-bats and playing with us and could be back in the starting lineup in a week!” “according to an article by Bryan Hoch on mlb.com
