On Wednesday night New York and Toronto will play game two of their three game series where Gerrit Cole will start for New York and Tanner Rorark will start for Toronto. Gerrit Cole who is a right handed pitcher comes into the game with a record of 5-3 with an earn run average of 3.20 earn run average. Cole finished what he started Friday , hurling seven scoreless innings against the Orioles to register a shutout in the first game of a seven inning doubleheader where he struck out nine and permitted two hits with a walk. Gerrit Cole will oppose Toronto’s Tanner Roark who like him is a right handed pitcher. Tanner Roark has a record of 2-1 with an earn run average of 5.60 Roark wasn’t pleased with being lifted after four innings his last time out, but regardless of how deep he goes , home runs and walks will be the key. He’s allowing both at career high rates but doesn’t look like he’s far from finding his groove.
