He comes into the finale of the three game series with a record of 1-1 with an earn run average of 3.38. Tanaka has rebounded nicely from a rough start against the Rays on Aug. 18, allowing just two runs over 11 innings in his past two outings. Tanaka has not faced the Orioles this season, but he has not fared well historically in Baltimore, posting a 5.22 ERA in seven career starts there.
