Is New York going to snap their five game losing streak when they host Atlanta for the opening game of the two game series tonight in Bronx New York?
Right now I don’t know the answer to that question!
What I do know is that New York who is a member of the American League East is on a five game losing streak and is going to be looking to snap it.
Why?
Because as stated above, New York has lost their last five games including the finale on Sunday verses Tampa Bay in Bronx New York by a score of 4-2!
Because of an error by Clint Frazier in left field
Clint Frazier made an an overaggressive throw that cost a base.
However,
That wasn’t the only error of the game that hurt New York as Center Fielder Aaron Hicks had an error as well he misplayed two balls that scored two runs for Tampa Bay!.
Though,
Errors weren’t the only thing that hurt New York as the performance of the offense did too in their 4-2 loss to Tampa Bay!
How?
The only offense that New York got was from DJ Lemahieu and Giancarlo Stanton!
DJ Lemahieu scored on a fifth inning run batted in while Giancarlo Stanton homered.
When?
In the second inning!
And because of the errors and limited offense New York’s losing streak was extended to five games.
