Two American League East Teams In New York And Baltimore Have The Same Record Again Coming Into Game Three Of Their Four Game Series In Baltimore Maryland

When New York and Baltimore who are both members of the American League East began their four game series with the opening game on Monday April 26, 2021 in Baltimore Maryland they both had a record of 9-12!

Why?

Because New York lost to Cleveland!

When?

Sunday!

Where?

Cleveland Ohio by a score of 7-3!

Why?

Jameson Taillon who started for New York allowed four runs and five hits over four innings including a three run homer to Franmil Reyes while reliever Nick Nelson allowed three runs during a two-inning appearance.

Because Nick Nelson allowed three runs during his two inning appearance the right handed pitcher was optioned to the Alternate Site.

And like New York on Monday Baltimore came to the opening game of their four game series with the same record but unlike New York Baltimore won their game on Sunday!

Why?

Because they beat Oakland by a score of 8-1!

Why?

John Means 6 1/3 innings of one run ball while Austin Hays hit two home runs.

Tonight New York and Baltimore come into game three of the four game series with the same record yet again!

This time, with records of 10-13!

Why?

Because New York who is fourth in the American League East won game two of the four game series!

When?

Last night!

Where?

Baltimore Maryland by a score of 5-1!

Why?

Because of their starting pitching and offense led them to 5-1 win over Baltimore!

When?

Last night!

Where?

Baltimore Maryland!

Why?

Corey Kluber tossed 6 2/3 sharp innings in his longest start in more than two years.

Kyle Higashioka, Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton homered.

However,

That wasn’t the only offense New York received from their players as they also received a leadoff double from DJ Lemahieu and a Sac Fly from Gio Urshela.

Meanwhile,

Baltimore was on the other end of spectrum in game two of their for game series!

When?

Last night!

Where?

Baltimore Maryland!

Why?

Because Baltimore lost game two of the four game series to New York by a score of 5-1!

Why?

Corey Kluber tossed 6 2/3 sharp innings in his longest start in more than two years where he limited Baltimore to one run while Baltimore squandered rallies in the sixth , seventh and eighth innings.

Domingo German is going to start for New York!

The right handed pitcher comes into the game with a record of 1-2 with an earn run average of 6.23!

Why?

Germán is coming off his first win since September 2019, having held the Indians to three runs (two earned) over six innings on April 22. Germán worked on his fastball command and recorded six strikeouts against one walk in Cleveland.

He is going to oppose Baltimore’s Dean Kremer who like him is a right handed pitcher!

Why?

Because Baltimore is planning on brining the right handed pitcher Dean Kremer back from their alternate training site to start Wednesday, one day beyond the 10-day minimum since Kremer was optioned after his April 17 start in Texas. The plan was always to recall Kremer when eligible, as the O’s looked to take advantage of two off-days by briefly operating with a four-man rotation. Dean Kremer is the number seven No. 7 prospect per MLB Pipeline, Kremer made the Opening Day rotation but struggled in each of his first three outings, going 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA in just 10 2/3 innings. Kremer lasted only three innings in his season debut against the Yankees on April 6, but he pitched very well against New York in his first two career starts down the stretch in 2020.

But will Domingo German and Dean Kremer be able to start for New York and Baltimore or will mother nature get in the way?

I think they will be able to start!

Why?

Because there is a 5% chance of rain at first pitch with intermittent clounds
