Jordan Montgomery, Taijuan Walker Are Starting For The New York Yankees, New York Mets As The Two New York Teams Begin The Subway Series Tonight In Bronx New York

Jordan Montgomery , Taijuan Walker, a left handed pitcher, right handed pitcher are starting for the two New York teams the New York Yankees who are a member of the American League East, The New York Mets who are a member of the National League East as they begin the subway series that is a three game series tonight in Bronx New York.

Jordan Montgomery comes into the game with a record of 3-2 with an earn run average of 4.06.

Taijuan Walker comes into the game with a record of 6-3 with an earn run average of 2.38.

But could mother nature decide if Jordan Montgomery , Taijuan Walker get to make their starts for their teams or if the New York Yankees, New York Mets get to begin the Subway Series?

That was the seven-run inning that ended up deciding the game.

Why?

Seth Lugo gave up an infield single with a throwing error then a ground out strikeout, intentional walk, walk and another infield single. The ball never touched the outfield grass, and New York dropped the series in head-scratching fashion.
