Jameson Taillon Has Been Impressive In His Last Couple Starts For New York
Jameson Taillon has been impressive in his last couple starts for New York!
For the team that wears the pinstripes!
How impressive?
Jameson Taillon scattered three hits while walking two and striking out four against Houston in Houston Texas on Sunday July 11, 2021 but Jameson Taillon didn’t get the win!
Why?
Because Domingo German who is in New York’s starting rotation came out of bullpen and beginning his third inning of relief Domingo German faltered.
How?
Domingo German permitted hits to the first two hitters.
Then Chad Green who unlike Domingo German is a reliever gave up a two run double to Chas McCormick Abraham Toro raked an RBI double and Jason Castro legged out a pinch-hit single before Jose Altuve's homer.
Chad Green had this to say about his outing out of the bullpen!
It was just one of those days where I didn't really have much out there," Green said. "I train in the off season for days like this. I'm not going to sit here and make excuses. They put some good swings on balls. It just didn't go my way."
Last night Jameson Taiilon started the finale verses Boston in Bronx New York limited Boston to four hits over 5 1/3 and the New York supported his start.
How?
Offensively for New York Gleyber Torres, Rougned Odor both homered for New York.
Gleyber Torres homered in the second inning opening the scoring homering off Boston starter Martin Perez by clearing the left-field fence.
Ryan Lamarre picked up his first Yankees hit in the fifth inning, then worked a walk, stole a base and scored a run in the seventh but that wasn’t all Ryan Lamarre did as he also hit a two run homer in the eighth inning and Jameson Taillon was credited with the win!

How will Jameson Taillon perform in his next start?
Right now I don’t know the answer to that question but what I do know that he is likely going to look to perform well on mound to give New York another opportunity to win.
