Are Gerrit Cole, New York Going To Bounce Back When He Starts Tonight As They Continue Their Series That Is A Four Game Series With Boston Tonight In Boston Massachusetts?

Are Gerrit Cole, New York going to bounce back when he starts tonight as they continue their series that is a four game series with Boston in Boston Massachusetts?

Right now I don’t know the answer to that question!

What I do know is that Gerrit Cole, New York are going to be looking to bounce back!

Why?

Because on Sunday June 27, 2021 Gerrit Cole had a rough outing verses Boston!

Where?

Boston Massachusetts!

Why?

Gerrit Cole’s first pitch of the afternoon was tagged over the left-field Green Monster by Kiké Hernández and Rafael Devers crushed a long three-run homer a few batters later, setting the tone for the Yankees’ 9-2 loss to Boston. Boston has claimed the upper hand thus far, handing New York losses in all six rivalry games this season.

J.D. Martinez launched a third-inning solo home run and Christian Vázquez lifted a sacrifice fly to round out scoring against Cole, who was charged with six runs (five earned) and eight hits -- both season highs.

New York who comes into the game with a record of 50-45 and is fourth in the American League East and 8.0 games back of Boston who is leading the division lost the opening game of the four game series to Boston in Boston Massachusetts last night.

Why?

Because relievers Chad Green, Kris Kriske faltered!

How?

Chad Green surrendered a game-tying two-run double to Kiké Hernández.

Chad Green grooved a fastball that Hernández pounded to left-center field.

Kris Kriske was unable to find the strike zone, becoming the first pitcher ever to throw four wild pitches in an extra inning, according to STATS. No pitcher has thrown more than four in any inning.

But will Gerrit Cole, New York have the opportunity to bounce back?

Mother nature might have something to say about that!

Why?

Because Because there is a 47% chance of rain at first pitch!

First pitch is set for 7:10pm from Fenway Park!

The game is going to be televised on NESN, Major League Baseball Network, Yes!
