Then Jeff Mcneil singled to left scoring Fransico Lindor extending New York Mets lead to 6-3. That turned out to be the final score because the New York Yankees were 0-8 with runners in scoring position that included Gleyber Torres being 0-2, Matt Carpenter being 0-1, DJ Lemahieu being 0-1, Anthony Rizzo being 0-2.
