Is Michael King Going To Be Ready To Come Out Of Bullpen For New York When New York Begins 2023 Regular Season Hosting San Francisco March 30, 2023 In Bronx New York?

Michael King left New York, Baltimore game on Friday July 22, 2022 in Baltimore with what is to be a fractured elbow in the 8th inning after throwing slider to Ramon Urias. Michael King winced and immediately walked toward third base dugout refusing a return throw from catcher Jose Trevino. Before that though New York’s Athletic Trainer Tim Lentych attended to Michael King on the field before New York manager Aaron Boone waved for closer Clay Holmes to enter the game and required surgery on his elbow in July! The good news Michael King isn’t going to require Tommy John Surgery! Why?

Michael King had this to say about not requiring Tommy John Surgery!

No Tommy John they said the ligament is in tact . No partial tearing It looks great. I was very relieved to hear an excited everything checks out. Micheal King is going to resume throwing between October 27, 2022 - November 27-2022.

For now though Michael King requires an additional x ray to confirm that his bone has properly healed before he starts throwing.

If the x ray returns clean Michael King would be able to enjoy a more or less normal offseason as he typically takes November off from lifting, throwing. though, starting a little sooner is going to allow him to build up needed arm strength.
