North Carolina is coming off a great run under head coach Roy Williams . A  ago  they made it all the way to the national title game before falling to Villinova at the buzzer. What does this year have in store for the Tar Heels ?  Will they be as good as they were a year ago? 

The Tar Heels open up exhibition play Friday as they host another North Carolina school in UNC Pembroke at the Dean Smith Center Tip-off is set for 7:30 pm.
