The Sensational Tyus Jones

Playing in the NBA is every college basketball players dream but it isn't always easy to get playing time when you have three guards ahead of you in  the rotation that have been in the league awhile and have the experience . How do young players get the experience so that they can be successful at the next  level?

Tyus Jones who spent only one season at Duke is now in the NBA trying to make a name for himself , fighting for minutes for this upcoming season by playing in the summer league because  the Minnesota Timber Wolves back court is loaded  with guards  that include veterans Ricky Rubio, Zach Levine and Andrew Wiggins along with  rookie Kris Dunn.

Tyus Jones has been leading the Timber Wolves in scoring. According to  http://www.startribune.com/jones-scores-29-leads-wolves-into-summer-league-final/387190941/ He is averaging 19.4 points , 6.3 rebounds and he has been named the most valuable player of  the league. Congratulations Tyus !

Tyus Jones and the Timber Wolves  will play the Chicago Bulls tonight in Las Vegas for the title tip-off is set for 9pm on ESPN2.
