Alex O' Connell, The Answer For Duke ?
Everyone who is familiar with Duke should know senior guard Grayson Allen and remember back in 2015 when he was freshman and how he brought Duke back in the national championship game in Indianapolis against Wisconsin after playing sparely during the season.
This season Duke has a similar situation with guard Alex O' Connell who is from Roswell Georgia."according to http://www.goduke.com/SportSelect.dbml?&DB_OEM_ID=4200&SPID=1845&SPSID=22727 who has also played sparely during his freshman season averaging 12.2 minutes per game while averaging 4.9 points per game "according to http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/4277846/alex-oconnell while shooting 60% from the field. "according to http://www.dukechronicle.com/blog/blue-zone/2017/12/take-of-the-week-leonard-dec-30
Take Duke's home Atlantic Coast Conference opener Saturday December 30th for example against Florida State. He came off the bench and made a three pointer and that swung the momentum back to Duke's side and they eventually won the game and got their first win in conference play.
So why not play Alex O'Connell? It can't hurt Duke's offense. The way I see it Alex O'Connell can only improve their offense and make it better!
