Kyle Guy, London Perrantes, Virginia Down North Carolina In Charlottesville

 Virginia got revenge on North Carolina Monday night at John Paul Jones Arena. 

Tony Bennett took the blame for their loss in Chapel Hill a couple days ago and with that came a new approach as Virginia  used a smaller quicker lineup that forced North Carolina into twelve first half turnovers while Kyle Guy and Ty Jerome gave London Perrantes the offensive lift hitting four 3-pointers to give Virginia a 27-23 lead headed into halftime. North Carolina meanwhile drops to 25-6 13-4 in the ACC were plagued by turnovers most of the night while Virginia scored 18 points off their turnovers. 

North Carolina's leading scorer Justin Jackson was held in check by London Perrantes most of the night as he was just 3-10 while he air-balled his first shot of the night and never got into a rhythm while Virginia's defense made it incredibly difficult for North Carolina to get the ball inside. Virginia returns to action Saturday as they host Pittsburgh who they lost to on January 4th in overtime and will look to redeem themselves and get a win against Pittsburgh.
