Jayson Tatum Declares For The NBA Draft

The highly touted freshman Jayson Tatum didn't play for Duke long.

It was announced  that he  would not return for his sophomore year and that he would enter the NBA draft.

As a freshman at Duke he averaged 16.8 points per game to go along with 7.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks while shooting 45.2 percent. In his time as a player for Mike Krzyzewski he helped lead Duke to an ACC Tournament title where they won four games in four days that included a 79-72 win over Clemson in the second round, an 81-77 win over Louisville and a 93-83 win over rival North Carolina.

Best of luck  as you begin your next journey as a player  in the NBA Jayson!  I enjoyed watching you play this season! I know you will do great and that you will be back at some point because Duke Basketball is more than just a game, it's a brotherhood.
