Tyus Jones Brother Point Guard Tre Jones Down To Six Schools

Does the last name Jones sound familiar?  It should because two years ago point Tyus Jones was named the most outstanding player of the final four and led Duke to their fifth national title. He is currently a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves who is coached by Tom Thibodeau.

It was announced today Tyus Jones younger brother Tre Jones who also is a point guard is down to six schools that include  Duke, Arizona, Minnesota, Baylor, Oregon, and UCLA.Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski was front and center watching Jones play Sunday. Tre Jones had this to say about following in his brother Tyus Jones footsteps.

“It’s a little hard not to follow that, I’ll be honest.”

“But, at the same time, it’s not that simple,” he continued. “I’ve got great options and I have to do what’s best for me. Whether that’s going to Duke or going to one of the other great schools on my list I just don’t know yet.” "according to http://usatodayhss.com/2017/nike-eybl-tre-jones-learned-a-lot-from-his-nba-brothers-recruitment.

Tre Jones will be making his decision at the end of the summer. "according to http://usatodayhss.com/2017/nike-eybl-tre-jones-learned-a-lot-from-his-nba-brothers-recruitment

Where will Tre Jones end up going to college? Will he follow in his brother's footsteps and go to Duke or will he go to one of the other schools on his list?

If he does choose Duke Mike Krzyzewski would be glad to have him as his point guard because the offense can't run as smoothly without a floor general like we saw this past season when Duke fell to South Carolina in the round of thirty-two in the NCAA Tournament.
