Amile Jefferson Getting His Opportunity In The NBA Summer League With Minnesota

Each player who played collegiality wants their opportunity to one day to be a player in the NBA. 

For former Duke forward Amile Jefferson, he spent five years in Mike Krzyzewski's program.

Amile Jefferson will continue his quest to make an NBA roster with the Timberwolves in the Las Vegas Summer League, Duke revealed via Twitter Saturday. The announcement comes hours after Matt Jones tweeted he will play in the league for the Houston Rockets. Jefferson holds Duke's school record for games played with 150 during his five years in Durham and was a critical piece in the frontcourt for most of his career. He averaged 6.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game as a junior and shut down Wisconsin center Frank Kaminsky in the 2015 national championship game to spark the Blue Devils' second-half comeback.
