Jones is a familiar name to Duke fans in Durham and around the country as Tyus Jones led Duke to the national title in 2015 by a score of 68-63 over Wisconsin and now he is a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Duke isn't done with the Jones family yet as Tyus Jones younger brother Tre Jones who will be a senior this upcoming season at Apple Valley High School committed to play for Mike Krzyzewski starting in 2018-2019.

The Gophers have received verbal commitments from three local stars who played with Jones on the Howard Pulley AAU team that competes in the Nike EYBL summer basketball circuit — Daniel Oturu, Jarvis Thomas, and Gabe Kalscheur — and there was talk that would be enough to sway him. Had he committed to Minnesota, it would have been the biggest confirmation to date that Richard Pitino has greatly improved the perception of the Gophers’ program.
