NC State Defeats Western Carolina At Reynolds Coliseum

NC State may have been hosting Western Carolina but they weren’t playing inside PNC Arena where they normally play their home games instead they were at Reynolds Coliseum that opened its doors in 1949.

Leading 45-33 at half, the Wolfpack shook off the Catamounts in the second half to christen the newly dedicated arena with a win. The Pack opened the second half by scoring the first 10 points to extend its lead to 22 points just three minutes into the final period. NC State has held a victory margin of at least 15 points in seven of its first nine games for the first time since the 1998-99 season. NC State will return to the hardwood on Saturday December 15th when they take on Penn State in the Boardwalk Classic in Atlantic City New Jersey.
