NC State Dominates Notre Dame In Raleigh

NC State who is led by first year head coach Kevin Keatts got in the win column for the third straight time as they beat Notre Dame who earlier in the week lost in Durham to Duke.

Three members of the Wolfpack scored in double figures. Torin Dorn  led all players on the floor with 21 point, setting his career-high for points in an ACC game. Braxton Beverly tallied 16 points off of an impressive 6-of-9 shooting performance, and Omer Yurtseven  posted his sixth double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Markell Johnson continued to impress with his fourth consecutive and sixth overall game with double-digit assists, as he finished with 10. NC State shot 30-of-60 (.500) as a team, the third time that it has connected on 50 percent or better from the field during ACC competition. The Pack was also dominant on defense, as the Fighting Irish's 58 points were the fewest allowed by NC State in an ACC game since March 7, 2015, when the Wolfpack defeated Syracuse 71-57. The Wolfpack did not look back, as it led by as many as 19 (35-16) in the first period of action and took a 37-21 advantage into halftime.
