NC State Travels To Winston Salem To Take On Wake Forest

On Tuesday night seventeenth ranked NC State will start their three game road trip in Winston Salem where they will take on Wake Forest.

NC State comes into the game with a record of 14-2 while they’re 2-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Wake Forest meanwhile comes into the game with a record of 7-8 while they’re 0-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

As for NC State’s previous game they topped Pittsburgh in Raleigh.

NC State will now hit the road for the three games starting Tuesday night when they visit Winston Salem where they will take on Wake Forest.

Miami opened the game with a 6-2 lead, but hot shooting from Chaundee Brown quickly put the Deacons on top. The Hurricanes came out of the break to regain the lead, but three free throws from Brandon Childress cut the Canes' lead to two. Wynn kept the momentum with Deacons grabbing his first career steal and converting the fast break layup on the other end. An 8-0 run from Miami extended the Hurricanes' lead to 57-49. The Deacon offense stalled, unable to find a basket for nearly three minutes while Miami used five threes in the second frame to take control of the tempo.
 
Brown got the Deacons out of the scoring drought driving to the basket. Wake Forest called timeout with 2:43 to play, facing a 70-55 deficit. Childress drilled back-to-back threes with under two minutes on the clock, but late trips to the free throw line sealed the game for Miami.
