Duke Cruises By Central Arkansas Without The Services Of Tre Jones

An injury scare had the Duke faithful in their seats at Cameron Indoor Stadium in silence.

A season ago Tre Jones separated his shoulder against Syracuse and returned against Georgia Tech. This season the team as well as the Duke faithful had to hold their breath yet again as Tre Jones played 9 minutes in Duke’s recent game on Tuesday night.

The sophomore point guard left after colliding with Central Arkansas' Aaron Weidenaar as the two chased a loose rebound with 7:57 left before halftime. “according to https://goduke.com/news/2019/11/12/mens-basketball-no-2-duke-rolls-past-central-arkansas-105-54-for-3-0-start.aspx

Jones laid on the court holding his head then rolled over onto his stomach while being attended by team medical staff, though he was able to eventually walk slowly to the bench. He appeared to be fine, talking with coaches and teammates as he remained on the bench wearing a warmup shirt over his jersey after halftime. “according to https://goduke.com/news/2019/11/12/mens-basketball-no-2-duke-rolls-past-central-arkansas-105-54-for-3-0-start.aspx
