Will Jordan Goldwire Receive More Minutes After Performance At Louisville?

This season most of the attention and playing time at the point guard position has gone to the starter freshman Tre Jones for Duke. Today though I’m going to talk about Jordan Goldwire who is Tre Jones backup who showed why he is valuable to this years team during their furious comeback in the Bluegrass State where they were down twenty three points to Louisville on Tuesday night and ended up leaving the Bluegrass State with a win.

The sophomore guard collected two defensive rebounds, to go along with two steals and two assists which fueled the comeback at the KFC Yum Center where Duke pulled out a 71-69 win. “according to http://www.goduke.com/fls/4200/stats/2018-19/basketball-m/du0212.pdf

Could his performance at Louisville lead to more minutes for the guard during the regular season and into the postseason? One thing I know for sure is that without him Duke might not have won the game and might have left the Bluegrass State with a loss.
