Alex O'Connell Is The Shooter Duke Has Been Missing

All season Duke has been struggling in one department and that is shooting from beyond the arc.

Well, Mike Krzyzewski inserted a player into the starting lineup in Duke’s recent game at Syracuse that can be a three point threat and that is guard Alex O'Connell.

The sophomore played 34 minutes and was 6-9 on field goals while he was 5-8 from three point range to go along with 20 points. “according to http://www.goduke.com/fls/4200/stats/2018-19/basketball-m/du0223.pdf?_ga=2.144187121.571698441.1550963373-881145153.1546751298 in Duke’s 75-65 win on the road Saturday at the Carrier Dome.

With Alex O'Connell's big night from behind the arc, Will he get another start and perhaps more minutes as Duke finishes the regular season and heads into the postseason? One thing I know for sure is that when given the chance as well as the minutes on the court Alex O'Connell can produce for Duke in the area it has been struggling in this season.
