NC State Heads To Chestnut Hill Massachusetts To Face Boston College

Last season NC State and Boston played twice.

Once in North Carolina’s state capital and once in Chestnut Hill.

This time around they will only play once and that meeting will take place in Chestnut Hill Massachusetts on Sunday.

NC State comes into the game with a record of 16-8 while they’re 7-6 in the Atlantic Coast Conference and fifth in the standings behind Virginia while Boston College comes into the game with a record of 12-13 while they’re 6-8 in the Atlantic Coast Conference and tenth in the standings behind Clemson. “according to http://www.theacc.com/standings.aspx?standings=40

As for last seasons first meeting between the two teams.

The NC State men's basketball team fought through a late second-half surge by Boston College to force overtime and ultimately defeat the visiting Eagles, 89-80, Wednesday night inside PNC Arena.

The Eagles led by one with under a minute remaining, but Dorn knocked down a free throw with 31 seconds left in regulation to tie the score at 73. The Pack built up its biggest halftime lead in ACC action this season as it took a nine-point advantage into the break. This time around NC State will be looking to sweep Boston College while Boston College will look to split the regular season games.

As for NC State’s previous game, They topped Syracuse in Syracuse New York earlier in the week.

 The NC State men's basketball team held Syracuse to just one field goal over the final six minutes of the game to win Tuesday night, 79-74, at the Carrier Dome.

Bryce finished with 19 points on 5-of-7 shooting, including 4-of-6 from three-point range. Boston College lost their previous game on the road at Miami.
