Duke Tops Boston College In Rematch In Chestnut Hill Massachusetts

Earlier in the season Duke who is ranked seventh in this weeks AP Top 25 poll beat Boston College by forty nine points in Durham.

In the rematch between the two Atlantic Coast Conference foes in Chestnut Hill Massachusetts that wasn’t the case. Instead, Duke won by eight points and earned a regular season sweep of Boston College.

BC scored the first six points of the game and led 12-2 before Duke, which missed 10 straight shots, went on a 9-2 run. It was 16-11 when Cassius Stanley slammed in an alley-oop from Jack White. While Duke earned the regular season sweep Boston College meanwhile suffered a setback after knocking off Duke’s tobacco road rival North Carolina over the weekend in Chapel Hill.
