This is a special moment for Tre and his family . I couldn’t be more prouder of what he accomplished this season. as both the ACC Player Of The Year and Defensive Player Of The Year. He’s been the heart and soul of over the last two seasons and it has been a joy to watch him develop as an ineradicable player and leader . There aren’t many as competitive as him, and I know the best is yet to come. I want to thank Tre for being such a pleasure to coach, and I wish him nothing but the best as he pursues his NBA career. “according to https://twitter.com/DukeMBB/status/1241440226326831105/photo/1

"When I was growing up, I had the dream of being a professional basketball player," Jones said. "But I also had a dream of playing basketball for Duke University, playing for the greatest coach of all time (Mike Krzyzewski) and being around the best. When I started my journey at Duke, my main goal was to win a national championship. Given what has happened in our world recently, our season was cut short and we never got the opportunity to bring No. 6 back home.”according to an article by Adam Rowe on 247sports.com

I think about what if — what would've happened if we got the chance? But I can't think about what didn't happen. I can only think about what did happen. What did happen was amazing experiences, memories and lifelong relationships that I gained with my brothers, the knowledge I received from Coach K and all of my coaches and Duke staff to become a better player and man and the endless support from the (Cameron) Crazies and all Duke fans.”according to an article by Adam Rowe on 247sports.com

"Duke has taught me what it means and what it takes to be the best at what I do. So many people have had an impact on me and this incredible journey — my family, my teammates, my coaches. I thank each and every one of them. My journey is just getting started as I look to begin my career at the next level. I will forever cherish everything Duke — always the brotherhood." “according to an article on 247sports.com
